Balsamic vinaigrette
This salad dressing couldn't be easier and it will liven up any salad.

Balsamic vinegar
olive oil
salt and pepper
sugar (brown or granulated)

font-family:Arial;color:#3C3C3C">Pour about two tablespoons of vinegar into the bottom of the bowl Add about a ½ tsp of salt, a few grinds of fresh pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of sugar.

Whisk rapidly, and then drizzle in the olive oil. Whisk rapidly where the olive oil has been poured into the mix. When your dressing thickens and turns into a paler shade of brown, it’s ready. Taste and if you find it too acidic just add a dash of olive oil. Drizzle generously over a green salad.

It’s a good idea to use a 3:1 ratio of olive oil to vinegar. You can also substitute half the olive oil with lemon juice which will give it a zesty flavour.
