Beef rolls
These make a great change to the regular pork sausage roll.

1 onion, chopped

1 celery stalk, chopped

300g extra lean beef mince

1-2 garlic cloves

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp dried rosemary

1 egg, lightly beaten

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

20 filo pastry sheets (25cm x 25cm)

oil spray

Heat oven to 200°C, 180°C for fan assisted ovens and line a baking tray with parchment.

In the food processor, pulse the onion and celery together until they resemble breadcrumbs.

Transfer to a large bowl.

Pulse beef mince in the food processor until it’s a finer consistency.

Add beef to vegetables along with the remaining ingredients (except the pastry and oil spray) and mix well.

Place one quarter of the beef mixture on the bottom third of each filo sheet.

Roll mixture once until it resembles a sausage roll shape.

Spray lightly with oil, sprinkle with pepper and place on the baking sheet seam side down.

Repeat until all filo sheets and beef mixture are gone.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the beef is cooked and the pastry is golden and the meat is cooked through.
