Best easy brownies
A foolproof recipe that you can whip up in seconds.

125g butter

125g dark chocolate

200g sugar

3 eggs

1 heaped tbsp flour

50g walnuts, chopped (optional)

Heat the oven to 160°C/320°F/Gas 4. Line a 22cm square cake tin with baking parchment.

Melt the butter and chocolate together in a saucepan over medium to low heat.

When melted, remove from the stove and add the sugar.

Let cool slightly and add the eggs, one by one.

Whisk in the flour and the nuts (if using). Transfer into the prepared tin and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. 

Leave to cool completely and cut into squares.
