Cheats chocolate and almond croissants
Have the ultimate indulgent brunch with these sinfully good croissants. 

6 croissants

100g marzipan, broken into small pieces

50g toasted sliced almonds

50g milk chocolate, chopped

Heat oven to 170°C / 325°F / Gas Mark 4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Using a knife, cut into each croissant lengthways, not all the way through.

Sprinkle one half of each with marzipan, 1 tsp almonds and finally 1 tbsp chocolate.

Close the croissants, transfer to a baking tray and sprinkle the rest of the chocolate and almonds on top.

Bake for 5 mins.  

Serve warm with a large cup of coffee.
