Chocolate ice-cream cake
An incredibly easy yet impressive cake!

1 madeira cake

500ml chocolate ice-cream, slightly softened

50g dark chocolate

100ml cream

300g M&M, Smarties, Maltesers

Slice the madeira cake horizontally into 3 pieces. Place the first slice in a loaf tin lined with cling film.

Cover the madeira cake with the chocolate ice-cream, followed by chopped chocolate candies.

Add a second layer of cake and cover with the ice-cream, followed by more chopped chocolate candies. Place the last layer of cake on top. 

Melt the chocolate and the cream and pour over the cake. Decorate with chocolate candies.

Let the icing set for a few minutes, then fold over the plastic wrap and place in the freezer until frozen, at least 4 hours or preferably overnight.

Serve in slices.
