Christmas mackerel pâté

Something to entice your guests’ pallet, this lovely easy pâté makes for a fantastic starter.
500g smoked mackerel fillets, skins removed
1 tbsp olive oil
280g cream cheese
Juice of 1 lemon, zest also
1-2 tbsp horse radish (or more if desired)
Into a food processor combine all of the ingredients and blitz until smooth.
Spoon the pâté into a serving bowl.
Serve with crusty bread or crackers.
