150g butter
200g caster sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
380g self-raising flour
250ml milk
1.5 tbsp cocoa powder
Pouring cream
Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a Bundt pan.
In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and caster sugar together until pale and creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla essence.
Carefully fold in the self-raising flour and stir in the milk until fully combined.
Pour half the mixture into a second bowl and stir the cocoa powder into this second mixture.
Alternating between the vanilla and chocolate portions, spoon the mixtures into the Bundt pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes.
Leave to cool and top with pouring cream to serve.
