Mexican salad
This is a very tasty dish that is simple to put together.

3 tbsp olive oil

500g beef mince

1 onion, diced

1 sachet taco mix

500ml water

1/2 head of lettuce, chopped

200g cheddar cheese, grated

2 tomatoes, chopped

3 tbsp sour cream

1/2 red onion, chopped finely

Tortilla wraps, to serve

Preheat oven to 180°C, 160°C if fan assisted.

In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the beef mince and onion until well browned.

Add the taco seasoning and water and cook for 2 minutes.

Remove from heat.

To make the tortilla bowl, spray an oven proof bowl with some oil and place the tortilla into the bowl.

Place into the oven for approx. 10mins or until browned, watch it carefully as it may burn easily. 

Assemble the beef, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, sour cream and cheese on top.
