Miniature sausage rolls
Mini sausage rolls are great for kids’ parties or as nibbles for older guests.
 

8 large pork sausages, skinless

320g ready-rolled puff pastry

2 eggs

Sunflower seeds to garnish

Heat oven to 200°C or gas mark gas 6.  

Cut each sausage into three even slices.  

Roll out your pastry and cut out strips the same width as your sausages.

Tightly roll the pastry around your sausage. Secure by pressing the end down with a fork.

In a small bowl, beat your two eggs together.

Lightly coat your pastry with the eggs and sprinkle on a few sunflower seeds.

Place in the oven for about 30 minutes until the pastry is puffed up and the sausages are thoroughly cooked.
