No-bake flapjacks
These are great for lunchboxes or for a picnic. Kids will love them because they have peanut butter in them and adults love them because they're healthy. 

80g brown sugar
3 tbsp golden syrup
200g porridge oats
110g puffed rice like rice crispies

4 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.

In a saucepan, combine the sugar with the golden syrup until dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a large bowl combine the oats, puffed rice, peanut butter and vanilla. Don’t over mix it as you will just squash the rice.

Pour the sugar and golden syrup over the dry ingredients.

Give it all a good mix and pour into the baking tray.

Place in the fridge to chill and cut into squares before serving.
