Pumpkin swirl chocolate brownies

Delicious chocolate and pumpkin brownies which are a perfect Halloween treat.
100g plain flour, sifted
½ tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
175g butter, melted
300g caster sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs
4 tbsp cocoa powder
85g dark chocolate chips
125g pumpkin puree
1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4.
Grease a 20cm square baking tin.
stir together the flour, baking powder and salt.
In another bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar and vanilla extract.
Beat in the eggs one at a time.
Fold in the dry ingredients gradually.
Divide the batter between 2 bowls.
To one bowl, add the cocoa powder and chocolate chips.
To the second bowl, stir through the pumpkin puree and cinnamon.
Spread half of the chocolate batter into the bottom of the baking tin, then spread half of the pumpkin batter.
Repeat these layers, ending with a pumpkin layer. Using a knife create a swirl pattern on the top.
Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes.
Leave to cool in the tin before slicing into squares and serving.
