Salmon with soy, ginger and honey

Salmon with soy, ginger and honey
Using only three ingredients, transform a piece of salmon into a taste sensation! 

2 tbsp runny honey

4 tbsp soy sauce

1 thumb sized piece of ginger, peeled and grated

4 salmon fillets (darnes or steaks)

1 tsp olive oil

Heat the oven to 200°C/ 400°F/ gas 6. 

Mix together the honey, soy sauce and ginger in a bowl

Marinate the salmon for at least 10 mins (up to 2 hours is best)

Heat oil in an oven-safe griddle pan or frying pan

Pan fry the salmon on a medium heat, 3 minutes per side

Place the griddle pan in the oven, or place the salmon in an oven proof dish and cook for 8 mins.

Transfer the salmon to your serving plate and spoon over any juices from the pan.

Serve with roasted baby potatoes or mashed potatoes.
