Shortcrust pastry

This shortcrust pastry recipe can be used for a variety of baking.
125g plain flour
½ tsp salt
55g butter, room temperature
3 tbsp cold water
Combine the flour and salt together in a large bowl.
Add the butter and use clean hands to rub it into the flour.
Keep mixing until it looks like breadcrumbs.
Stir in the cold water to make a dough mixture. You may not have to use all the water.
Wrap the dough in clingfilm and place in the fridge for 15 minutes before using.
