Smoked mackerel pâté
 
Something to entice your guests' pallett, this lovely easy pâté is simply delicious.

240g smoked mackerel fillets

1 tbsp olive oil

200ml reduced fat cream cheese

1 tbsp chopped gherkin

2 tbsp chopped dill, plus extra for sprinkling

Juice of ½ lemon

1 tbsp horse radish

Into a food processor combine all of the ingredients and blitz until smooth.

Spoon the pate into a serving bowl and top with the dill if using.

Serve with crusty bread or crackers.
