Valentine’s mini cakes
This recipe is specifically designed for a romantic Valentines Day dessert. With plenty of chocolate, it's bound to go down a treat and will be the perfect way to complete your romantic meal.

250 g butter
125 g dark chocolate
300 g caster sugar
3 large eggs
100 g wheat flour
50 g cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
75 g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
75 g milk chocolate, broken into pieces
75 g white chocolate, broken into pieces

Melt butter and 125g dark chocolate in a saucepan over low heat.

Whisk eggs and sugar until foamy and fluffy.

Fold in the flour, cocoa and baking powder.

When fully combined, stir in the remaining chopped chocolate.

Pour into heart shape muffin tins.

Bake at 180°C/350°F/Gas 4 for approx. 20 min until baked through.

Cool cakes on a wire rack.

Decorate with romantic message to your loved one.
