I just tried the Robert Roberts Apple Flavour Detox Infusion Tea and i loved it! I found it very easy to drink and it had a great mild taste not too strong, but also not too week either. I often drink herbal tea but tend to avoid fruit flavours, because I have found many be to acidic or bitter, but that's not the case with this tea. I would buy this tea again, although without trying the tea for this trial, I would probably have looked passed it in shops thinking it might be strong on the apple side.

I'll be back later with my 2nd review for blackcurrant, looking forward to trying that one next!

I am a regular drinker of herbal teas and have to say that this is my first time trying Robert Roberts. I had heard of them before and have seen their products in the shops but usually I stick to the brand I like. I mainly like chamomile teas, some fruit teas, peppermint, lemon & ginger & some green tea.
The apple flavour detox infusion tea was lovely. I found it to be very mild and light to drink. It hasn't got a strong apple flavour. They have got it just right. I was pleasantly surprised by this one & would buy this tea. I probably would not have bought it if I hadn't tried it out today!
The blackcurrant flavour Pu'erh tea wasn't as enjoyable. I found it quite strong for my liking. It is drinkable and the blackcurrant flavour certainly made it easier for me to drink. If I was to drink Pu'erh tea, it would have to have a strong flavour alongside it for me. It was ok, not as bad as I imagined it would be but I don't think I will be buying this one.
The apple flavour detox infusion tea is the winner for me and will defintely be purchasing.

Tried the blackcurrant tea today, currently on my second cup. I did try
pu'erh a few years ago (only because i'd heard it can help you loss
weight) and i found it very hard to drink, dont even think i managed to
drink the first box. So this blackcurrant pu'erh tea is a big
improvement on how easy the tea is to drink, i enjoyed drinking it and
will defiantly be finishing this box. But i still have to say that the
apple tea is hands down winner for me, i will be buying that one again.
But not so sure about the pu'erh tea, unless i go on another diet!

I have see this tea on the shelves in supermarkets and I have bypassed them thinking they are just yet another tea like every other but how I was wrong. Ive tried this drink and have to say I was pleasently surprised at the taste, The Roberts Roberts apple dextox infsuion tea was delicious and by far my favourite, it had a very subtle flavour and did not leave the bittery aftertaste so many other herbal teas do and was it very easy and enjoyable to drink and gave some teabags to friends and they also thought the apple was delicious

The Pu'erh blackcurrent tea was also tasty and very palatable with a hint of blackcurrent flavour it was pleasent to drink in the evenings but I enjoyed the apple detox infusion tea more and I will be defintely buying this from now on and I am going to try the other brands Roberts Roberts have out

Conclusion the Roberts Roberts Apple Detox Infusion Tea was my favourite hands down :)

I don't normally drink herbal teas - last time I tried I really didn't enjoy them, at all. BUT I know they're good for me and with the amount of coffee I drink (approx 6 cups a day), it's time to try to make a change.
I was pleasantly surprised with the taste the Robert Roberts apple flavour infusion tea - I must confess I've never heard of it before. And I also rather enjoyed the Blackcurrant flavour Pu'erh Tea. I've neer had Pu'erh tea before, but I've heard and lots and lots of good things about it.

Both teas tasted really nice and refreshing and were very easy to drink. I'm now having my herbal tea twice a day instead of coffee - which is really saying A LOT!

I enjoy both teas, and am drinking both of them, but I think my prference would lie with the Apple flavour infusion tea - probably becuase I like apple flavour more than blackcurrant. But like I said, they're both really nice.
I'm delighted with my progress on these healthy alternatives and will definitely be buying them again.

Well done Robert Robers and thanks MummyPages for letting me take part.

Yummy yum yum yum is all I can say about the Apple flavoured tea. It is so refreshing and light. I used to drink a lot of green tea but was getting fed up of it. I am drinking approx 4 cups a day since the trial arrived,( bought a box in the supermarket yesterday) and I have noticed that my skin has improved.
The pur'eeh tea however is a little strong for my liking. The black current flavour softens it a little but unfortunately I won't be rushing out to stock up.

Received my Roberts Apple Flavour detox infusion tea just in time for breakfast, I always have a cup of coffee and a slice of toast with butter for my breakfast so I decided to try my new tea instead. It was a cold morning and I really enjoyed it,it smelt nice, I liked the fact it was a light off green colour and so felt it wouldnt stain my teeth as much as coffee. It had a hint of apple flavour not too strong,it had a lovely taste, sometimes with teas I feel like I drink them because they are good for me but takes a while for me to get to like the taste. It had a nice smell but nothing too strong as I cant stand strong smells.I had a total of 4 cups throughout the day. Day 2 I got up and made a cup of tea but I decided to leave it until after breakfast. I felt it was too sweet to have with my toast .Instead of my cup of coffee at midday I had the tea and it was delightfull.I contined to drink this tea instead of making a cup of coffee but for my breakfast for now I will continue to have a cup of coffee.I find the tea gives me a great pick me up when I drink it.Nice, refreshing, mild taste.

Thank you for sending on the tea's....I am a coffee addict, the stronger the better, and on occassion I buy green tea with different favours to reduce my caffine intake, but after a cup or two, they go to the back of the press !
I have to admit I love the Apple Detox, it's so easy to drink, has a refreshing sweet apple favour with a hint of peppermint. I prefer to leave the teabag in for a stronger taste. Brought some into work to share and its a big hit all round. I got some more in the shops, my own concern is the price point nearly €5 compared to the Green tea ranges aound €3. But still cheaper than my coffee !Smiling
I have tried Pu'erh tea before, as I heard it had great weight loss properties...but the smell really turned me off it. It does have a fishy odour (sorry !).....So I was abit weary of the Blackcurrant pu'erh tea, not overly fond of blackcurrants either. The smell isnt as bad as my last encounter - and the blackcurrant takes the edge off the taste. NauseaSorry I just couldn't take to it but passed the box onto my dad who loves it ! (He's a big fan of green tea and fish)

I switched to green tea from 'normal' tea about a year ago so was definitely interested to try these teas! I, like another tester, had tried Pu'Erh tea a number of years ago for its magical weight loss promises! I really grew to like the taste of it in time so I was looking forward to trying a blackcurrant flavoured one. I loved it! I have now switched my daytime tea drinking to be a mix of green tea and the blackcurrant Pu'Erh.

I also liked the Apple Infusion but I think that I would have liked it to have a slightly stronger apple taste. As a caffeine free tea though, I would definitely have this in the evenings (which I have been doing!)

Many thanks again for including me in the trial!

I don't normally drink herbal teas but I was delighted to be chosen as a tester. While I thought the apple detox tea was refreshing the apple flavouring could have been stronger. I will finish the box but I won't be buying it. The blackcurrant pu'erh tea however was a different story. I thought it was also refreshing and tasted great. I much prefer the blackcurrant tea to the apple one. The blackcurrant tea will be a regular addition to my shopping list. This tasting has inspired me to sample more herbal teas. Thank you for choosing me and I look forward to trying any more new products you may have.

I drink herbal/speciality tea ofter- various flavours and types such as ginger and lemon, chamomile, peppermint, green, echinacea and lemon. I prefer these teas to traditional tea.My favourite hot drink is hot water with a wedge of lemon! At the moment I like the apple robert roberts tea best, I had been trying it for a few weeks prior to this trial which was why I was so eager to take part in this review.
I really enjoy the taste of the apple tea, its very more-ish and exceptionally easy to drink, its very palatable!
I didn't like the blackcurrant pu'erh tea, I found the taste far to strong and bitter, and I didn't want any more than one cup of it a day.I mush preferred the apple tea -there was a lovely smell from it, it was very warming and I always wanted a second cup!It tasted lovely too.I would definitely buy the apple tea again.
Would be great if they could bring out some more fruit teas

Thanks for inviting me to participate in the trial.I really enjoyed it.Smiling

First off i'd like to thank you for including me in this trial.
Before i got pregnant and had my little girl i would only drink herbal and fruit teas, i'd buy them in the health food shops but some were very hard to drink, they were either not tasty or very harsh tasting. I could never find any that were great tasting. I wanted one to actually taste like what it said it was, which brings me to the first tea i tried. The detox apple tea was absolutely gorgeous, i can't fault it in any way at all it got me right off my normal caffeine tea and now i plan on sticking to this tea in the long run. I had never ever heard of this brand of tea before, like i said i'd buy the health shop teas but now i'm gonna search the shops for this one cos its a keeper. When i first drank it, it reminded me of hot apples, just gorgeous!
I also tried the blackcurrent pu'erh tea but to be totally honest i wasn't blown away by it, it actually reminded me of other herbal teas that didn't really taste of what they said they were. Saying that i'm gonna stick at both but would only buy the apple one the taste is just great, and i'm already hooked!! Saying that tho about the blackcurrent tea i did find it very easy to drink and i wasn't forcing myself to finish it. The main thing i'd change would be a more intense flavour of blackcurrent, thats the only problem i had with it, that it didn't have a strong taste of blackcurrents.

I drink coffee. Lots of coffee. And tea if I've run out of coffee. I have never before tried herbal / fruit or other 'not real tea' teas. ( God I sound awful!!) So I was interested in trying something new and something that I would never have considered drinking before. I am aware of the Robert Roberts brand and have tried the 'regular' teas before. I tried the apple tea - have to be honest I wasn't too keen to start but after the distraction of breaking up an argument between the 2 & 4 year olds I came back to a lukewarm mug of apple tea and found it much more palatable. Certainly would never dream of drinking cold coffee so this would cut down on the number of mugs that end up poured down the drain!! As for the blackcurrant - I really didn't like it at all. Hot or cold - but the 7 year old thought it was 'kind of nice'. I won't be rushing off to the shops to buy either product to be honest but am now a small bit more open to this type of tea and will probably try more in the future.

Thanks for including me in the trial tho - As I always say to my 3 if you don't try you won't know !!
