Shocking images have emerged from an airplane altercation between a mum and two women who complained over her baby’s crying.

The incident occurred during a flight from China’s Chongqing city to Hong Kong, with the mother allegedly attacking the two women after they told her to ‘shut her child up’.

Fellow passenger Xiong Wan described the shocking scenes: “I was sitting right next to them when they started telling the woman to shut the baby up. She started shouting back at them and before I knew what was happening, she leant over the seat and punched one of them.”

Wan went on to describe the incident as “like some bizarre film”.

Cabin crew eventually managed to separate the two women, and both were brought in for formal questioning once the plane landed in Hong Kong.

Addressing the situation to the media, airline spokesman Daio Weimin said: “Passengers cannot behave like this. Each and everyone must adhere to aviation laws to ensure a safe and comfortable flight for all.”
