Children love Disney – it’s just a fact of life; and it’s always inspiring to see the worlds of those treasured tales brought to life.

We’re a little bit in awe this week, after seeing how Michigan-based artist Jennifer Treece recreated the world of Tangled for her eight-year-old daughter, Gianna.

Gianna simply adores the Disney movie, based on the classic tale of Rapunzel, and so Jennifer decided to use her creative talents to decorate her little one’s bedroom.

Posting photos of the creative process to her official Facebook page, Paintings by Jennifer Treece, the doting mum unveiled her amazing work, piece by piece.

The mural, which covers the entire wall behind Gianna’s bed, features Rapunzel and Flynn taking a midnight boat ride; beyond them is a stunning castle, while lanterns and float through the sky to create a truly breath-taking scene.

Over to the side, a long lock of Rapunzel’s hair is seen hanging from a blossom tree, against a background of the same shade of purple as the princess’ dress.

Needless to say, the photos have attracted plenty of attention, with parents and children alike falling in love with Jennifer’s amazing work.

Indeed, one page follower even asked if the work was for sale, not realising that it was a mural!

Check out more of Jennifer’s work over on her Facebook page and website.
