Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after the death of a woman at Kilcoran, Cahir, Co. Tipperary.
The female pedestrian was in her 50s. She was fatally injured following a collision with a car at 8.20pm on June 11, 2018.
The incident occurred on the Old Cork Road (R639). The woman was walking on the hard shoulder with a child on a bicycle.
The child was not injured in the collision, and neither was the driver of the car, who is a man in his late 20s.
The female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was travelling towards Mitchelstown from Cahir when it struck her.
