There is wonderful news from Hollywood A-lister Christian Bale and wife Sibi Blažić as they welcome their second child to the family, a baby boy.
The couple have been quiet about Sibi’s pregnancy, not hiding the growing bump but also not commenting on their growing family.
Christian and Sibi, who married in 2000, also have a nine-year-old daughter together, Emmeline.
Though very private about his family and home life, Christian has previously spoken about being a father and how important it is to him.
“Nothing can prepare you for fatherhood,” he said. “It's the best thing ever. I don't want to leave my daughter's side for one second.”
"It's all about my girls, my wife and my daughter. I carry a picture of them with me all the time."
Christian has also talked about the sillier aspects of parenting, calling himself a “court jester” for his daughter.
“The last few years of my life have been spent just watching animation—for my daughter—and getting a kick out of that. I love anything that she likes. If she's getting a kick out of it, I love it,” Christian said.
“I find myself tearing up at the most ridiculous things now, sitting next to my daughter while she's watching a movie. Me and my wife look across at each other like, 'Oh my God! Are we really doing this? Yes we are!'”
While the new parents have not commented directly, we’re sure that they are as joyous and proud of their baby son as of their much loved daughter.
