  5. Don’t allow yourself to go hungry, so carry around a few cereal bars in your bag to nibble on.
  6. During the first trimester, you are bound to feel more tired than usual; make sure you get enough rest and take naps when you can.
  7. Don’t forget the suncream. Your skin is a lot more sensitive to UV rays so generously apply sunscreen all over, especially during the summer.
  8. Don’t forget your prenatal vitamins.
  9. Stay away from second hand smoke.
  10. Maintain a healthy lifestyle by continuing your pre-pregnancy exercise regime.

  1. If you are one of the unlucky ones, whereby your pregnancy actually causes your hair to become greasy, make sure you don’t use conditioner on the roots but do still use it.
  2. Make sure you drink lots of water to help flush out any toxins in your body. It will help you skin to stay clear and help maintain sufficient amniotic fluid in the sac.
  3. Stretch are an inevitable part of pregnancy, although some mums-to-be get them more than others. The best way to help ease marks is to moisturise, moisturise, moisturise.
  4. Eating a plentiful supply of fruit and veg. will not only be good for baby, it will also keep your skin glowing.
