Apple and rhubarb crumble
Delicous combination of apple and rhubarb in this comforting crumble

Filling:

3 bramley apples, peeled, cored & sliced

500g rhubarb, sliced into 3cm pieces

100g caster sugar

50g butter

1 tsp cinnamon

Topping:

125g rolled oats

75g plain flour

75g light brown sugar

100g butter (softened)

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Place the rhubarb and apple pieces into an ovenproof dish and dot butter over the top.

Mix together ground cinnamon and caster sugar. Sprinkle over fruit.

To make the topping rub together oats, plain flour, butter and 50g light brown sugar.

Cover the top of the fruit mix with topping.

Sprinkle over the remaining 25g light brown sugar over the top.

Bake until golden on top, around 45 mins
