Baked bananas with chocolate
Healthy treats that are are fun to make, and very simple.
 

4 ripe bananas

65g chocolate buttons

Vanilla ice cream, to serve (optional)

Preheat the oven to 200°C / 400°F / Gas mark 6.

Line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper and set aside.

Make a slit through the skin of the bananas along one side – making sure not to cut all the way through to the other side.

Slide in the chocolate buttons along the slit. Wrap each banana in sheet of foil and crimp the edges together to make a parcel.

Transfer to the baking tray and bake for 25 minutes until the bananas have turned black.

Serve with a scoop of ice cream if you like.
