Cajun style stew

Add a bit of spice to dinner with this beautiful Cajun stew.
450g cocktail sausages, cut in half
1 red onion, sliced into wedges
2 garlic cloves, grated
2 celery stalks, roughly chopped
1 red pepper, roughly chopped
2 tbsp self-raising flour
400g tin chopped tomatoes
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Salt
200g frozen large prawns, thawed
Fresh coriander, finely chopped, to garnish
Lime, wedge (optional) to serve
In a slow cooker, place the sausages, onion, garlic, celery, and pepper.
Sprinkle with flour and toss to coat.
Add the tomatoes and their liquid, 100ml of water, and cayenne pepper.
Season with salt.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
Add the prawns and cook for ten minutes.
Garnish and serve with crusty bread or rice.
