Chocolate chip pancakes
For the ultimate treat on Pancake Tuesday, make these yummy chocolate chip pancakes. Kids and grown ups will love them!

250g plain flour

4 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

350ml milk

100g chocolate chips

Butter

Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and oil; add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Ladle a few spoonfuls of the batter into a frying pan with melted butter.  Flip pancake over when bubbles appear on the top and the edges are a bit dry. Cook until second side is a golden brown. Serve hot with syrup and a knob of butter.
