Chocolate chip Smarties cookies

125g butter
50g soft brown sugar
1 egg - beaten
150g self-raising flour
125g choc chips or chopped chocolate
Smarties to decorate
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4
Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Cream the sugar and butter together until fluffy and light.
Beat in the egg, sift in the flour and mix well.
Next add the chocolate chips or pieces and mix thoroughly.
Put 25 teaspoons of the mixture onto the baking sheet leaving a little room between each one.
Press a few mini Smarties on the top of each cookie.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Leave on the baking sheet for 10 minutes and then transfer onto a wire rack to cool fully
