Chocolate covered flapjacks

Chocolate covered flapjacks
Making these lovely flapjacks in batches is great for lunches or surprise treats.
 

50g butter

50g clear honey

½ quantity crunchy granola with honey and dried fruit, http://mumy.me/4u4

100g plain chocolate, half chopped into small chunks, half melted

Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas mark 5.

Prepare a baking tin (15 x 20cm, or 18cm square) with greaseproof paper.

Melt the butter and honey together in a large pan.

Stir in the granola mixture and chocolate chunks, making sure they are all well coated.

Tip the flapjack mix into the tin and press down very firmly with the back of a large spoon or spatula.

Cover with kitchen foil then bake for 25-30 minutes. Leave to cool in the tin, then drizzle over the melted chocolate.

Once fully set and cooled, cut into 8 portions.
