Domino biscuits
Lovely crunchy chocolate biscuits, which make a perfect edible gift for Christmas.

100g butter

75g caster sugar

1 tbsp cocoa powder

150g plain flour

Pinch of salt

Coloured chocolate sweets

Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4.

Cream together the butter and sugar

Add 1 tbsp cocoa powder, plain flour and a pinch of salt.

Mix well and bring together into a dough.

Roll the dough into a ball and slice this in half. You can cover one half and pop it into the fridge or freezer for later use.

Roll out one half on a sheet of greaseproof paper, keeping a rectangular shape.

Using a sharp knife, trim into 3 cm strips from top to bottom.

Cut each strip into 6 cm long biscuits, then spread them out on the tray and score a line down the centre to resemble a domino.

Add coloured chocolate sweets and bake for 15 minutes.
