Perfect for a mid-week dinner when time is short.
50g butter
35g plain flour
960ml milk
1 tbsp mustard
Salt and ground black pepper to season
420g pasta, cooked
400g tinned salmon
120g breadcrumbs
120g cheese, grated
Preheat the oven to 200°C or gas mark 6
To make the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan and add the flour, stirring constantly.
Add the milk and stir until the sauce thickens and stir in the mustard. Season with salt and pepper.
In a bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the salmon and place in a casserole dish.
Add the sauce to the salmon and pasta mix, sprinkle with cheese and top with the breadcrumbs.
Place in the oven for 20 mins.
