Fish balls with tomato sauce

225g (8 oz) smoked mackerel fillets, skinned
350g (12 oz) white fish fillets, skinned
1 onion, chopped
2 teaspoons tomato puree
½ teaspoon garam masala, optional
Tomato sauce
25g (1 oz) Flora Buttery
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 red pepper, finely diced
1 teaspoon oregano
400ml passata or can chopped tomatoes
Place all the fish ball ingredients in a food processor and blend to a smooth paste.
Using wet hands, shape the mixture in to small balls.
Heat the Flora in a small pan and sauté the garlic and pepper for 3-4 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and the fish balls. Cook on the hob for 25-30 minutes or bake in preheated oven 180°C, 160°C fan oven, Gas 4 for the same time.
Serve with rice or noodles.
