If you love pancakes, you will love this delicious giant German version.
1 tbsp butter
2 eggs
120ml milk
60g plain flour
Pinch salt
Icing sugar for dusting
Preheat the oven to 220°C/ 425°F/ gas mark 7. Lightly grease a cast iron frying pan or ovenproof dish if you don’t have a pan with butter.
Beat the eggs together in a large bowl before pouring in the milk.
Whisk in the flour and salt and make sure it is smooth without lumps.
Pour the mixture into the pan and place in the oven for 15 minutes until brown and golden in colour.
Garnish with icing sugar before serving.
