Lentil burgers

These veggie lentil burgers are a great way to introduce new flavours to your family’s diet.
500g cooked lentils
3 large eggs
Pinch salt
1 large onion, finely chopped
130g breadcrumbs
1 tsp all spice seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil
In a food processor, combine the lentils, eggs, and salt together until they are a thick runny texture.
Spoon the mixture into another bowl and add in your onion, breadcrumbs and seasoning. Combine together.
Turn the mixture onto a flat, clean surface. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
On a medium temperature heat the oil in a large frying pan. Gently cook your patties for about 10 minutes on both sides or until they begin to turn brown.
Leave to cool.
Serve with a side salad or in bun burgers.
