4oz self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
4oz castor sugar
4oz butter, soft
2 eggs
1 tbsp milk Smarties & Mini Smarties
Black icing pen

To decorate:
8oz icing sugar, sifted
2-4 tbsp warm water

Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan oven).

Place 18 paper cases into two bun tins.

Put the flour, baking powder, sugar, butter, eggs, and milk in a large bowl and beat together with an electric hand whisk for 2 minutes until the mixture is soft and pale.

Spoon the mixture into the paper cases and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool down.

Put the icing sugar into a bowl and gradually stir in 2-4 tbsp of warm water until the icing is stiff but easy to spread.

When the buns are cold, spread the icing on the tops and decorate with Smarties to make the eyes and mouth of the vampires and bodies and eyes of the spider.

With the black icing pen draw the spider's legs and eyes and the vampire's fangs, eyes, nose and eyebrows.
