100g milk chocolate drops

85g butter

50g milk chocolate drops

Frosting

300g icing sugar, sifted

100g unsalted butter, at room temperature

40g cocoa powder, sifted

40ml whole milk

Sprinkles, smarties to decorate

Grease and line a traybake. Heat oven to 160°C fan/gas 4. Melt the butter on a low heat in a large saucepan, cool for 5 minutes and tip in sugar, vanilla and eggs. Beat until smooth with a electric mixer. Stir in the flour, cocoa and ¼ tsp salt. Stir in the milk chocolate drops and transfer to the oven to bake for 35 minutes.

Beat the icing sugar, cocoa powder and butter together in a freestanding electric mixer with a paddle attachment on medium slow speed until the mixture is well combined.
