Frozen chocolate covered bananas
This is such a fun treat for the kids to enjoy and help make.

4 large ripe bananas, peeled and cut into thick disc pieces

140g semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

20g shredded or grated dried, coconut (optional)

Line a baking sheet tray with greaseproof paper.

Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl for 1 minute then stir to make sure everything is melted.

Insert an ice lolly stick into each piece of banana.

Cover each piece with melted chocolate by dipping them inside the bowl used for melting the chocolate and sprinkle with the coconut, if using.

(Reheat chocolate, as needed, to keep it melted.)

Place the bananas on the baking sheet and freeze until frozen, about 2 hours.
