It’s almost back-to-school time, and we already know what you’re thinking – I’m not ready to see another sandwich just yet. This news might just make the transition that little bit easier, though!

Ensuring your little ones are getting the nutrition they need from their lunchbox is one concern you can tick off the list, thanks to the launch of Homebird.

Created by O’Brien Fine Foods, Homebird is a new range of pre-cooked, ready-to-serve sliced chicken and turkey.

So, what’s so special about the Homebird range? Well, it’s the only Bord Bia-approved Irish sliced chicken and turkey, meaning you can rest assured that not only are these products tasty and nutritious but also of the highest quality – and that, mums, means we’re doing our jobs!

O’Brien Fine Foods has collaborated on Homebird with three Irish families, with a long history in the industry. While Homebird chicken comes from Manor Farm, its turkey originates in Hogan’s Farm.

The range has plenty of varieties for hungry little mouths, from ‘Sliced Carvery’ to the ‘Just Add’; flavours, meanwhile, include traditional roast, sweet and smoky, and garlic and herb.

The products are cooked and ready to serve, and – best of all – they are versatile; they’ll work perfectly for everything from school lunches to home-cooked family dinners, and beyond.

According to O’Brien Fine Foods’ Managing Director, John O’Brien, the launch of Homebird falls in with the company’s promise to provide ‘naturally healthy food solutions that are high quality, convenient and trusted’.

Homebird is available in supermarkets nationwide in 90g and 100g; for €3.50, or two packs for €6.
