It doesn’t matter how organised we are – at some stage during the school year, we are going to be late dropping the kids off at the gates.
Given how difficult it is to get yourself and your little ones organised, fed and watered, and out of the door on time; there really should be some kind of ‘Mum Card’ we can pull when we wind up getting stuck in a traffic jam.
Of course, we can give all the reasons in the world for our tardiness – the school secretary still won’t care as she sticks a metaphorical blot on our little one’s copy.
So, we can see why the mum in this hilarious Reddit post did what she did!
Redditor ‘Colieoh’ took to the social networking site to share what happened when her friend was recently late dropping her daughter off at school.
When asked to explain why Sophie was late (although, at 8:48am, we can’t imagine by much), the mum in question simply wrote: “Bad parenting”.
The Reddit community responded with typical amusement, and some of their own stories have left us in hysterics.
Indeed, one Redditor wrote: “If my dad dropped us off late to school he would write, ‘My children are late because they are not on time’.”
