A big favourite, this high in protein fish is excellent for the school lunchbox.
Crusty bread cut into halves
1 tin of drained tuna
2 ½ tbsp mayonnaise
60g cheddar cheese, grated
Pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas mark 4.
Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
In a large bowl mix all of the ingredients except the cheese.
Slice the crusty bread in half then add the cold mixture on top. Add the cheese and bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
Serve or wrap in foil for lunch boxes.
