Almond and Date Chocolate Balls

Almond and Date Chocolate Balls
Great little healthy energy balls which are perfect for snacking on the go.

155g dates, chopped

65g flaked almonds

1 tbsp coconut oil, melted

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp cinnamon

Pinch of salt

20g desiccated coconut (for rolling)

Weigh out all ingredients.

Add to a food processor and blend.

Once the mix has softened to a paste, roll into small balls with your hands.

Roll each of these in the desiccated coconut and transfer to a plate lined with baking paper.

Transfer plate to refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
