Asparagus and Apple Purée

Asparagus and Apple Purée
Siobhan Berry advises us that babies are born with a sweet tooth; by combining sweet with savoury, your baby is more likely to accept new tastes such as asparagus.

1 Apple
Handful of asparagus

Wash, peel and chop the apple and asparagus.

Place the apple and asparagus in a steamer and cook for 10-15 minutes, until tender and cooked through.

Purée or mash, adding some boiled water if it is not runny enough.
