Bacon cheeseburger pasta
A great alternative to the traditional cheeseburger.

500g beef mince

6 slices shortcut bacon, diced

1 courgette, finely grated

1 carrot, finely grated

420g condensed tomato soup

500g pasta

160g mozzarella cheese, grated

Cook the pasta in a pot of salted water for about 10 minutes or until it is al dente.

While the pasta is cooking, fry the mince until browned and remove any excess fat. Set aside.

In the same pan, cook the bacon until it is crispy. Return the mince to the pan and add the courgette and carrots and cook for a further 3 minutes.

Pour the tomato soup over the mixture and add the pasta. Mix together well.

Pour into a lasagne dish and top with cheese.

Put it under the grill for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
