Banana chocolate fudgesticles
These fun fudgesticles are a great healthy alternative to shop-bought ice pops

3 small ripe bananas

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 Medjool dates pitted

125ml (1/2 cup) almond milk – or oat/soy/rice milk

1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder – or use carob/raw cacao powder

Blend together all ingredients until smooth a food processor or blender.

Pour in to ice pop molds or molds of choice. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes before removing and gently placing sticks in the centre.

Return to the freezer for 3-3.5 hours.

To remove from molds simply allow to thaw for 5-10 minutes at room temperature or place molds in to a bowl of boiling water for a 1-2 minutes before giving them a gentle wiggle to release!
