Best ever slow cooker macaroni and cheese
Kids will adore this cheesy slow cooked dish, it’s simple and delicious.
 

250g macaroni, uncooked

475ml low fat milk

400g low fat skimmed evaporated milk

1 egg

2 garlic cloves, grated or crushed into a paste

½ tsp onion powder

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

100g strong white cheese such as cheddar or Gruyere, grated

100g mild white cheddar cheese, grated

50g Vegetarian friendly hard cheese, grated

Pour the macaroni into the slow cooker

In a large pan over medium heat, whisk together milks, egg, garlic, onion powder, mustard, salt and pepper.

Add in the cheeses and mix until melted through.

Pour the mixture over the macaroni and stir well to coat.

Cook on low for 3 hours then serve.
