Cheese fondue
An easy and flavoursome starter, this is great for serving to your guests while they wait for the main course. 
 

1 tbsp butter

1 tbsp all purpose flour

110ml white wine

1 garlic clove, crushed

200g Mozzarella cheese, grated

200g Cheddar cheese, grated

3-4 slices of two day old bread, cut into small rectangles

You will also need about 4 or 5 fondue skewers.

Melt the butter in a saucepan over a medium heat and add the flour.

Pour in the wine and add the garlic for about 5 minutes.

Add the cheese and cook until it has fully melted. About 5 minutes.

Make sure you stir it frequently throughout cooking.

Pour into a fondue pot and serve with the bread and skewers.
