Chicken and vegetable puree

100g chicken minced
1 carrot
1 leek (white part only)
250g sweet potato
150ml passata (pureed tinned tomatoes)
200ml baby chicken stock
Peel and slice the sweet potato and carrot and set to one side.
Slice the leek and saute in a small amount of olive oil until it has softened.
Add the minced chicken and cook until the chicken is white on all sides.
Add the sweet potato and carrot and cook for a further 1 minute.
Add the passata and chicken stock, stir and bring to the boil, then cover and simmer for approx. 15 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly and then blend until runny and smooth (you can add some of your baby’s usual milk for a smoother consistency if required).
Suitable at 4+ months
