Roasted tomato and pasta

This is a really simple dish to whip up and the cherry tomatoes add extra flavour.
3 tsp olive oil
3 chicken fillets, sliced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
500g pasta shells
2 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled
¼ onion, diced
10 cherry tomatoes, halved
60g Parmesan grated and torn fresh basil leaves, for serving
Half head lettuce
Preheat your oven to 180°C or gas mark 4.
Cook your pasta according to the packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
Line your cherry tomatoes on a baking ray and place into the oven for about 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Heat your oil in a large pan and gently cook your chicken on a medium temperature for about 7 minutes. Add the garlic and onion and cook for a further 3 minutes. Season with pepper and salt.
Toss in your pasta and tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
