Root vegetable and lentil puree

A healthy and tasty puree for your family
1 small onion
2 large carrots
1 stick celery
1 small parsnip
1 large sweet potato, peeled
1 tbsp olive oil
A few sprigs of thyme, finely chopped
50g red split lentils
500ml chicken stock
Chop the onion, carrots, celery, parsnip and sweet potato in the bowl of the multi talent food processor.
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan and add the chopped vegetables. Cook for 6-8 minutes over a gentle heat stirring from time to time.
Add the thyme leaves, the lentils and the stock. Bring to the boil, place a lid on the saucepan and reduce to a gentle simmer. Cook for 20 minutes.
Puree in the bowl of the multi talent food processor with the supercut blade attached.
