Salmon and dill canapé puffs

Salmon and dill canapé puffs
Perfect for preparing ahead, these little puffs make impressive canapés. 
 

185g poached salmon fillets

200g full-fat soft cheese

Small handful chopped dill

375g sheet puff pastry

1 eggs, beaten

Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper and set aside.

In a food processor, blitz the salmon, soft cheese, dill and a little salt and pepper until just combined.

Unroll a sheet of puff pastry and cut into 3 pieces lengthways.

Divide the filling along the middle of each section and brush the borders with beaten egg.

Fold and seal.

Cut each roll into 8-10 bite-size pieces, then place on the baking tray, cover with cling film and freeze.

Brush with beaten egg and cook at oven to 200°C / 400°F / Gas mark 6.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until puffed and golden.
