Stir-fried chilli beef
This recipe makes for a healthy meal with only 302 calories. It's a very quick and simple recipe and allows you to eat something delicious while staying healthy. 

250g sirloin or fillet steak, sliced (all visible fat removed)
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp olive oil
1 hot red chilli, shredded
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp chopped fresh root ginger
1 large carrot, cut into strips
1 celery stick, cut into strips
1 red pepper, seeded and sliced
pinch of five-spice powder
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp hoisin sauce
240 g boiled Chinese egg noodles (cooked weight)
2 spring onions, shredded

Season the strips of sirloin or fillet steak with lots of freshly ground black pepper.

Heat the oil in a wok or deep frying pan and set over a medium heat.

Add the peppered steak strips and stir-fry for 1 minute until seared all over on the outside.

Add the chilli, garlic, ginger, carrot, celery, red pepper and the five-spice powder. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Stir in the soy and hoisin sauces and then cook for about 2 minutes.

Gently fold the cooked egg noodles into the beef and vegetable mixture.

Serve the stir-fried chilli beef immediately, sprinkled with some shredded spring onions.
