Sweet potato, pea and quinoa purée

Quinoa was the staple grain food of the Incas of Peru. It has gained popularity in recent years and it can now be described as a super food as it is remarkably high in protein. It also supplies fiber, vitamins B and E, calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus.
250g sweet potato, peeled and chopped
150g frozen peas
150g eating apples, peeled and chopped
200g quinoa, rinsed
500ml no-salt vegetable stock
Steam the sweet potato, apples and peas (adding the apples and peas towards the end).
Prepare the quinoa by adding 500ml of stock to the pan bring to the boil, then reduce and simmer for 20 minutes.
Blend together and purée to the desired texture for baby.
